The use of Google's latest Augmented Reality technology allows users to visualize and configure their ideal awning directly on the exterior wall of their home. This innovative approach to awning selection offers a unique experience tailored to individual preferences.

Markilux provides a diverse range of models and fabrics, ensuring that the awning can be customized to meet specific requirements. In the Outdoor mode, users can virtually install their configured awning and observe its functionality — extending and retracting it, examining details, and even simulating a seating experience underneath it. Should preferences change, switching fabrics or models is seamless and instant within the application.

An alternative Indoor mode presents a three-dimensional view of a house with a built-in awning simulation displayed on any flat surface, such as a table. Once users have finalized their dream awning configuration, they can share it as an image in the AR view or through a configurator link. This link allows for retrieval within the AR app or loading in the online configurator for further adjustments.
